the water flow calmly
the wind makes tiny whirlpool
the oar creates calm waves
along the way our memory overlaps

and when the sunset arrived
drizzle of rain pour from the sky
water missed earth so much
that it couldn't help falling down

i remember the little run
that we had to do to reach the coffee shop near the side of canal
silent wind chime is heard from afar
creates a beautiful symphony with the sound of rain fall

you said, "thank you for this afternoon walk"
i said, "it's my pleasure"
while i whispered from inside,
wishing the rain would last forever

that night we came across a jewelry shop
you approached the shop window
to see the beautiful ring that was displayed
your eyes suddenly look so bright and happy

i never thought before

leaves falling down to the canal
leaving water to guide them to the end of their journey
